As the Executive Minister of the oldest Baptist Association in our nation I reflect on our Baptist heritage and our contributions to the formation of American Democracy. During this year as we celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary let us hold fast to our four Baptist Freedoms:

We are multi-perspective, multicultural, and multilinguistic association embracing our diversity in the body of Christ.

We are a regional ministry of American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA).
We are a network of mission, fellowship, and support.
For as in one body, we have many members and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.
